Alliance Partners & Friends

A state of the size and diversity of Texas has many organizations which are especially equipped to assist the homeschooler. Among this diversity are both those organizations which are direct partners with the TCASHE alliance and those which serve homeschoolers merely as our friends. Below are summaries of these organizations and their services.

  • Ministry and assistance to homeschool families in special circumstances

Relief Organizations

  Home School Foundation
  • In response to the devastation caused by hurricane Katrina, the Home School Foundation has established a Hurricane Emergency Response program to help homeschooling families who have suffered great losses.
  Project Noah
  • Project Noah is set up to help families in financial crises (e.g. death of a spouse, divorce, loss of income, natural disasters, severe family illness, etc.), Project Noah is available to replace curriculum to the homeschoolers during their hour of need.
  Family Reformation Ministries' Operation Katrina outreach
  • An outreach to assist displaced homeschooling families affected by Hurricane Katrina. This program will assist families in replacing lost curriculum, clothing, and other necessary supplies. It will also provide food and temporary lodging as needed.
